In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying parts and assemblies throughout the production process. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with industry regulations such as AS9100, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of reliable, safe, and top-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Read and understand parts' blueprints and GD&T. Perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify dimensions and tolerances. Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for complex part analysis and ensure measurements align with technical specifications. Conduct visual inspections and utilize data collection tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Analyze inspection data to identify trends or recurring issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Assist in maintaining documentation for quality management systems (QMS), including non-conformance reports and inspection records. Qualifications Ability to read and understand parts' blueprints and GD&T. Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with calibration and use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of industry standards including AS9100. Experience operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and vision inspection systems is highly desirable. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for quality assessments. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy standards. Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
