Overtime Available | Currently Working 50-55 Hours Per Week, Including Saturdays Position Overview M Force Partners is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support dimensional inspection and metrology operations within a manufacturing environment. This CMM Programmer role will be responsible for developing and optimizing CMM programs, performing advanced dimensional inspections, supporting quality initiatives, and ensuring products meet customer and engineering specifications. The ideal CMM Programmer will have 3-5+ years of experience programming and operating CMM equipment, advanced knowledge of GD&T, and strong proficiency with PC-DMIS software , which is required for this role. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize CMM programs using PC-DMIS software Perform First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final dimensional inspections Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformance Conduct dimensional inspections on manufactured components, tooling, fixtures, and production parts Support process capability studies, PPAP activities, and root cause investigations Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve dimensional and manufacturing issues Generate inspection reports, work instructions, calibration records, and quality documentation Support customer audits, internal quality reviews, and compliance initiatives Analyze measurement data and identify opportunities for process improvement Assist with implementation of new metrology technologies and inspection methodologies Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 3-5+ years of experience programming and operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing environment Advanced proficiency with PC-DMIS software (required) Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation Experience performing First Article Inspections and dimensional analysis Experience with SPC, MSA, and corrective action processes Knowledge of
ISO 9001, IATF
16949, or similar quality management systems Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Manufacturing Technology, Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Experience with Zeiss, Mitutoyo, Hexagon, or similar CMM equipment Experience supporting aluminum die casting, machining, aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing environments Experience with Minitab, Q-DAS, or other statistical analysis software Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification Previous experience mentoring junior inspectors or CMM operators Job presented by M Force Partners M Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
