Job Description

CMM Programmer The company measures and creates parts, CMM stands for Coordinate Measurement Machine. They want someone specifically with Hexagon equipment experience as that's the machine they have and they don't have time for someone who needs training, candidate MUST have experience using PC-DMIS and be able to program from drawings and blueprints. They work with metals - Aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel, and Titanium so the programmer must have experience with metals. They don't want someone with only plastics or some other materials experience. They work with small to medium size parts about 2.5 - 20 inches. MUST have aerospace experience. They want someone with at least 7 years of CMM programming experience and 2-3 years of that in Hexagon equipment experience. You can start at 6 am or 7 am, if you start at 6 am the hours will be 6 am - 2:30 pm with a half hour lunch. They're an ITAR facility so the candidate must be a US citizen or permanent resident at least, US citizenship is preferred though. Will do a background check and drug screen. Their customers do sometimes make site inspections and some of them are military so this individual should have a normal professional look. CMM Programmer We are a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer The CMM Programmer is the subject matter expert for dimensional metrology, responsible for developing advanced PC-DMIS inspection programs for high-precision, complex parts. Create, debug, and optimize advanced online and offline PC-DMIS routines using CAD models and Model-Based Definition (MBD). Execute and validate complex AS9102 First Article using Net-Inspect Must be willing to train other inspectors and CNC programmers in use of programs so they can learn how to inspect parts. Assist in creating AS9102 1st Article Inspection reports.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of dedicated CMM programming experience specifically in the aerospace and defense industry.
Software Expertise:
Advanced, expert-level proficiency in PC-DMIS. Strong knowledge of
ASME Y14.5 & Y14.1 GD&T
Blueprint Literacy:
Flawless mastery of complex aerospace engineering drawings, specifications, and digital product definitions.
Material Familiarity:
Proven experience inspecting diverse aerospace materials, including titanium, Inconel, and aluminum.
Data Standards:
In-depth knowledge of Net-Inspect. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
Compensation range:
$40 to $50 per hour Must live in the South Bay area or adjacent, within 25 miles of the Carson facility. #IND1
