Quality Inspector

Move Forward with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspectors in Carson, CA. As a Quality Inspector you will: Perform inspections, audits, and reporting on materials, processes, and finished products Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) on newly designed or revised products Inspect incoming materials to verify proper documentation and conformance to specifications, engineering requirements, and purchase orders Perform in-process inspections of manufactured parts Inspect sub-assemblies used in aircraft interior construction Conduct final inspection of completed products prior to shipment Interpret and read engineering drawings, company standards, and customer specifications Use variable and attribute measuring instruments to verify compliance Provide technical training to employees as requested by the Supervisor Perform additional duties as assigned This is a Full-Time opportunity.

Schedule:

Monday

• Friday
• 6 am to 2:30 pm
• OT when needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred) Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Working knowledge of inspection tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Understanding of quality systems and inspection documentation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication skills

Pay Rate:

$ 21.00 per hour.

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
