Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance/Compliance Coordinator to join our team! We are a small manufacturing company looking for a detail-oriented individual who can drive quality assurance objectives while maintaining compliance in all safety aspects. The purpose of this position is to assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing effective manufacturing practices, procedures, and specifications. Requirements include extensive knowledge in QC inspection of electrical and/or mechanical products and the ability to apply best practices in a manufacturing environment as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities and Duties Achieve quality assurance objectives by implementing and maintaining procedures Maintain documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information Supervise and train QC inspection personnel of all incoming materials Train final inspection personnel of all incoming electropolished items and all units prior to shipment Review work orders for final assembly and complete all documentation Develop databases of all inspection documents for all incoming materials including lamps, quartz, and assemblies Ensure compliance with safety internal procedures, Haz Mat, forklift training, OSHA compliance, and SDS maintenance Coordinate and direct monthly safety meetings Conduct monthly QA reviews with production, engineering, sales & operations Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills This position requires a personable team worker and the ability to work independently with above average planning and organization skills. MUST have previous inspection experience in a manufacturing environment with electrical/mechanical products. Minimum 5+ years of experience in QC inspection for electrical/mechanical products and in manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in engineering field required or equivalent working experience.
