The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role involves utilizing precision measuring instruments and conducting inspections to maintain compliance with industry regulations, including aerospace, NADCAP, and ISO standards. Duties Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and digital measuring machines . Conduct visual inspections to identify defects or non-conformities in parts. Analyze inspection data and maintain accurate records of findings to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9102 standards. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance procedures and documentation. Participate in internal audits and support external audits related to quality management systems. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance. Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and vision inspection systems. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
2015 and other relevant quality standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
