$20•27 per hour
Chino, CA:
$20•24 per hour A day in the life You start your shift reviewing today's production schedule and inspection queue.
First up:
verifying incoming materials. With calipers and micrometers in hand, you confirm critical dimensions, record results, and flag anything outside tolerance. As production ramps, you move to in-process checks—spot-measuring components, running a CMM program to validate complex profiles, and updating the quality dashboard so the team sees real-time status. A finished-goods lot closes out the morning; you complete the final inspection, document metrics, and sign off for shipment. When a nonconformance appears, you collaborate with production to contain the issue, document it clearly, and help drive a corrective action. Between lots, you refine a checklist, assist with a procedure update, and prep for an upcoming internal audit. Throughout the day, your attention to detail keeps our products aligned with company and industry standards. What you'll do Perform detailed inspections on incoming materials, work-in-process parts, and finished products. Use precision metrology tools to verify specifications and tolerances. Capture findings and maintain accurate quality records and metrics. Identify, document, and communicate defects or nonconformities to production. Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement corrective actions and enhance processes. Support creation and improvement of quality control procedures. Participate in audits and continuous improvement activities. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification in quality is a plus. Hands-on experience as a Quality Inspector (or similar) in manufacturing. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong eye for defects. Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specs. Clear communicator who thrives in collaborative team settings. Skilled with calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
