$20•24/hour A day in the role Step onto the floor and start by checking your gauges and confirming your CMM program setup. You'll move from incoming material checks to in-process verifications and finish with final inspections, ensuring every part aligns with drawings and specifications. Along the way, you'll document results, flag nonconformances, and partner with production to drive corrective actions. Your eye for detail helps refine procedures, support audits, and sustain continuous improvement in an AS9100-driven environment. What you'll do Perform detailed inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods. Use metrology equipment—CMM, measurement gauges, calipers, and micrometers—to verify dimensions and tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to confirm conformance. Record inspection findings, maintain quality metrics, and generate clear, traceable reports. Identify defects and nonconformities; communicate effectively with production to resolve issues. Assist with corrective and preventive actions; help refine quality control procedures. Participate in regular quality audits and contribute ideas to continuous improvement initiatives. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; technical training/certification in quality control is a plus. Proven experience in manufacturing quality inspection. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies; AS9100 experience preferred. Blueprint reading proficiency and comfort with specifications and GD&T basics. Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
