Position Summary The Performance Improvement (PI) Analyst is a hybrid position responsible for remaining current with the various quality reporting programs at MemorialCare Medical Foundation (MCMF). The Analyst must demonstrate ability to navigate medical records, partner with clinical offices to drive performance improvement. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job Responsible for performing concurrent and retrospective reviews of patient medical records for quality improvement 2Maintain a thorough understanding of quality measures and quality registry used to monitor patients enrolled in incentive programs. Serves as a liaison with clinical staff, validating accurate documentation is obtained and will coincide with quality measure guidelines. Reviews clinic performance and provides education and best practice consideration as appropriate Conduct patient outreach (letters/phone calls or secure email) to educate and assist with care gaps. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 year of medical office experience. Must demonstrate excellent organization skills, and attention to detail. Must have reliable transportation and a valid California driver's license and car insurance. Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook. Prior experience in use of Electronic Health Records preferred.
Education/Licensure/Certification:
Medical Assistant certificate required High School diploma or GED required
