We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support our clinical operations and ensure our documentation meets all regulatory requirements. Position Summary The Home Health QA Specialist is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and agency policies. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and experienced in home health documentation standards. Key Responsibilities Review OASIS assessments, visit notes, and care plans for accuracy and compliance Audit clinical documentation for completeness, timeliness, and regulatory adherence Evaluate clinical records for accuracy and completeness using
ICD-10/ICD
coding, CPT coding, and ICD-9 where applicable. Ensure all documentation aligns with federal regulations such as Medicare billing requirements and FDA safety protocols. Communicate with clinicians to correct or clarify documentation Ensure orders, signatures, and required documents are obtained and properly filed Monitor compliance metrics and assist with internal QA reporting Support preparation for surveys, audits, and accreditation reviews Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and case management team to ensure smooth workflow Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Medicare and state home health regulations to ensure ongoing compliance management. Qualifications RN with experience in home health as an administrative professional Minimum 2-3 years of home health experience (QA or OASIS review strongly preferred) Strong understanding of Medicare home health regulations and documentation standards Proficiency in
ICD-10/ICD
coding, CPT coding, and understanding of ICD-9 coding systems. Familiarity with Medicare billing processes and compliance standards. Experience with OASIS, Plan of Care, and EMR systems (Kinnser/WellSky, Data Soft Logic, or similar) Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced office environment

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
