JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting the inspection of electrical components and assemblies used in the manufacturing of aircraft interior parts at all stages of the production process.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Education, Knowledge, and Experience Interprets and reads engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, customer, and company specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing. Inspects, tests, and documents the incoming receiving testing of purchased electrical parts or components used in aircraft interior assemblies. Testing for defects such as assembly, soldering, crimping, wires, stripping, and bonding. Able to write inspection reports and non-conformance reports. Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained. Documents the testing or aircraft interior products and components at various stages of production for dimensional, electrical, and mechanical characteristics. Inspects and calibrates precision measuring equipment. Ability to troubleshoot issues while performing testing. Ability to problem solve issues while performing inspections and communicate with other team members and production. Inspects and documents products for proper packaging for shipment. Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program
Education:
A High School Diploma is required. A two-year college (Associate Degree), Trade/Technical School or certification is desired.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-5 years of direct experience.
Skills:
Microsoft office applications Basic math
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSE ASQ

SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION
Direction with necessary guidance is provided in terms of tasks and craftsmanship and measured based upon how well tasks have been completed. Receives detailed instructions as needed.
