This is an onsite role in El Segundo, CATHIS IS NOT AN IT ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Technician to support food safety, quality compliance, and production operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for monitoring production processes, conducting inspections and audits, maintaining documentation accuracy, and ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, and customer standards. Perform routine quality inspections and production line checks throughout assigned shifts Monitor production, packaging, labeling, and food safety processes to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Complete and maintain accurate production, quality, and compliance documentation Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, labels, and packaging materials for accuracy, lot coding, and proper storage Print and provide production labels and required documentation as needed Food Safety & Compliance Conduct internal GMP and food safety audits Enforce adherence to company policies, food safety programs, and customer requirements Support compliance initiatives and corrective action processes Promote and model proper GMP and sanitation practices across production teams Maintain compliance with all workplace safety, security, and food safety procedures Required skills High School Diploma or GED Prior Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to write detailed reports and maintain accurate records Basic mathematical and analytical skills Preferred 2-3 years of experience within food and/or beverage manufacturing Experience working with GMPs, food safety programs, and production quality systems Work Environment Position is based in a food production and warehouse environment, including refrigerated and frozen areas Regular exposure to cold temperatures ranging from approximately -10°F to 40°F Environment may include loud noise levels, dust, odors, and high employee traffic Frequent movement between production floors, warehouses, refrigerated storage, and office areas Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, balancing, and reaching Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently Ability to occasionally climb stairs or ladders Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and occasional holidays based on operational needsSimilar jobs in Inglewood, CA
