Irvine, CA 92618 About the Role Medix is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a premier, global Medical Technology leader specializing in musculoskeletal healthcare solutions. Quality Control Technician Duties & Responsibilities Medical Device Inspection:
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional testing of raw materials, in-process sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Blueprint Reading:
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and work instructions to ensure total product compliance.
Quality Documentation:
Accurately document QC inspection activities at receiving, in-process, and final testing stages.
Component Labeling:
Conduct detailed label inspections and line audits to ensure proper product segregation and regulatory compliance.
Non-Conformance Reporting:
Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective materials and assist with the final product disposition process.
ERP Data Entry:
Utilize Oracle ERP software to log in-process quality audits, track inventory, and transact production parts.
Job Requirements & Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
1-6 years of quality control (QC) inspection experience. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Device, ISO 13485, Aerospace, or Pharmaceuticals) is highly preferred.
Inspection Tools:
Hand-on experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Software Skills:
Previous experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
Availability:
