$33/hr. - $36/hr. Position Overview A manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Lead to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for actively performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections while coordinating daily quality activities on the production floor. The Quality Control Lead serves as the primary technical resource for Quality Inspectors and Incoming Quality Inspectors and acts as the liaison between the inspection team and the Quality Control Supervisor. The ideal candidate will possess strong inspection experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to ensure consistent application of quality standards while supporting production schedules and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on incoming, in-process, and final FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) inspections. Work alongside Quality Inspectors to ensure inspections are completed accurately and consistently. Serve as the primary point of contact for Quality Inspectors during assigned shifts. Coordinate daily inspection activities to support production schedules and shipment deadlines. Verify compliance with approved procedures, engineering drawings, test plans, and customer specifications. Review inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy. Identify, document, and escalate non-conforming materials and quality issues. Support containment, sorting, re-inspection, and verification activities for non-conforming products. Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to inspection personnel. Ensure compliance with ESD, PPE, and workplace safety requirements. Assist with internal audits, customer audits, and witness FAT activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and inspection processes. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in electronics, manufacturing, or quality inspection preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or quality inspection environment. Hands-on experience performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and test procedures. Experience using inspection and measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and related tools. Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to provide technical guidance and lead by example in a production environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Lead Inspector, Senior Inspector, or Quality Lead. Experience within aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or electronics manufacturing industries. Familiarity with quality standards including ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC-A-610, and AS9102. Experience supporting customer audits, witness inspections, and third-party audits. Knowledge of RF systems and electromechanical assemblies.

certification or equivalent quality certification. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, 8-10 hours per shift. Manual dexterity required for detailed inspections and testing activities. Strong visual acuity to inspect small components and review technical documentation. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and ESD protection.
