Manufacturing Full Job Description Quality Inspector Location:
Stanton, CA Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM•2:30
PM Pay:
$30.00hr•35hr (DOE) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure products meet established quality standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has strong inspection experience, can interpret technical documents, and is committed to maintaining high-quality manufacturing practices. Key Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for defects and specification compliance Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring tools Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify and report non-conforming materials; assist with corrective actions and root cause analysis Operate and program Romer Arm and CMM equipment Operate optical comparator and other inspection tools Perform inspection tool calibrations as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred 3-5 years' Quality Inspector experience required Prior CMM•Romer Arm Experience preferred Experience in a manufacturing or ISO-regulated environment Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) Ability to read blueprints , specifications, and work instructions Proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection equipment Basic computer skills and inspection documentation experience Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
