Ensures all the activities and functions related to the position are established in the internal procedures of Bryant Rubber.
  • Experience in processes or similar position (preferably)
  • Use of inspection equipment / tools (preferably)
  • Basic computer skills
  • High School or GED
  • Successfully complete your training on VTA / Work Assignment and shows the ability to perform these duties appropriately.
  • Responsible for the quality of your operation.
  • Reports production quantities in the visual manufacturing system.
  • Carry out the weighing (APW) for the counting of the parts inspected, and attach said information to the roadmap (to avoid discrepancies of material), to later continue with the next process of the parts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in product quality specifications
  • Performs inspections and quality control of the products in the manufacturing process.
  • Performs manual inspections and visual inspections or uses technical equipment, such as the microscope, to identify defects such as contamination, holes, marks, color, etc.
  • Verify dimensions using measuring equipment (Vernier, optical comparator and / or other measuring equipment following the specifications of the drawings.
  • Order, count and / or mark items according to size, grade and / or color.
  • Cut material or re-work items, using knives, scissors, cutting machine or buffer with wheels.
  • You can remove or replace defective areas to save the parts of the product
  • Read and interpret drawings (as a plus)
  • Measures parts by Inspection Plans (200 and 300)
  • Use quality documents in VQ, Excel, Word format.
  • Performs inspection functions as necessary - AQL - post-curing, etc.
  • Maintains a safe work environment at all times; Uses personal protective equipment at all times, participates in safety program and training.
  • Any other activity related with the work assigned by the company. Ability to follow instructions and well understandings rules Detail oriented Analysis abilities Manual Skills Initiative and teamwork Careful and responsible of the equipment Ability to train on the process
  • Physical activities such as bending, climbing, lowering, lifting, continuous movement, able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Constant standing up to 6 hours.
  • Pass vision exams (without or with prescription glasses)
