Description:
The Metrology Technician to support and oversee measurement and calibration activities. This role is responsible for supervising the measurement team, performing dimensional inspections, conducting MSA studies, and ensuring compliance with quality standards such as AS9102 and AIAG Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and capability studies for product validation Conduct dimensional inspections and ensure accurate data recording in Visual Quality (VQ) Maintain and manage calibration systems, including internal and external calibrations Program and operate SmartScope (Ram Optical) and other non-contact vision systems Monitor KPIs (First Pass Yield, open work orders, etc.) Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements Requirements High School/GED and Technical degree, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience Experience with SmartScope / Ram Optical vision measuring systems Proficiency with inspection tools (optical comparator, microscopes, calipers, gauges, etc.) Knowledge of
GD&T, AIAG
MSA, and AS9102 Experience with Calibration Management Systems Familiarity with Minitab or statistical analysis tools
