What You'll Do (Essential Job Functions): Performs mechanical/visual inspection of fabricated and purchased components, and hardware per drawing utilizing dimensional, geometric, and true position tolerancing Adjusts, calibrates, and maintains measuring equipment Maintain quality system and records Lead and prepare
AS 9100/ISO 9001
internal and external audits Plan, guide, and lead compliance efforts across multiple sites/suppliers Perform supplier quality assurance audits for assigned suppliers Work with executive management, and cross-functional process owners to develop a corporate quality plan Create standards in accordance with industry standards and customer expectations Identify quality control processes to ensure criteria are always met. Record findings and relay this information to the manufacturing engineering team Perform trend analyses of Quality data to identify potential problem areas, evaluate corrective actions, and measure performance over Develops and maintains a supplier quality index, utilizing statistical control programs to assure that only high-quality vendors are retained Develops and implements a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards Ensure that products and services meet customer needs and expectations to fulfill corporate quality objectives Provide training and leadership at all levels of the company to build understanding and create a quality culture Establish a quality team to support customer source inspection activities Coordinate, create, review and train others on AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) Other work assignments depending on business needs What You'll Bring (Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Proficient comprehension and interpretation of blueprints, true position and geometric tolerancing and work instructions Proficient with MS Office software Strong documentation skills Great team player, proactive, analytical and with strong problem-solving abilities Willing to work overtime when needed Don't let a few missing additional knowledge, skills, and abilities hold you back. If this role inspires you, apply with confidence. Your Experience (Minimum Qualifications): 4+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems Experience leading, managing, and preparing
AS 9100/ISO 9001
internal and external audits Expertise creating inspection reports including AS 9102 1st article reports High Proficiency using all types of precision measuring equipment Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide appropriate documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility as required by applicable law. Must qualify as a "U.S." Persons as defined in 22 CFR § 120.62 under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in order to comply with applicable export control laws and regulations. Must be able to successfully complete a drug screening in accordance with the Company's drug testing policy and applicable law. Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check in accordance with the Company's screening policy and applicable law. Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This role operates within a manufacturing environment where exposure to loud noise, chemicals, moving machinery, and other occupational hazards may occur. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and protective footwear, is provided by the Company and must be worn as required. The position may require standing or walking for extended periods, occasional lifting (up to 25-50 pounds), and the ability to inspect products and equipment at close range. Use of computers and standard laboratory or testing equipment is required. The role may also involve entering production areas where temperature variations, airborne particulates, and moderate noise levels are present.
