Full-time General Description Summary The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and evaluations to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This role supports the production of Phos-Chek® Long-Term Fire Retardants and Foams at the Rancho Cucamonga facility. As part of an emergency-response-driven business, the Quality Control Technician plays a critical role in maintaining compliance, consistency, and product integrity during periods of high demand, including during fire season. The technician ensures all products meet established specifications prior to release and shipment, applying strong attention to detail and analytical skills, and strictly adhering to safety and quality standards in accordance with Perimeter Solutions' EH&S policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (not in any priority): Maintain a safe working environment (and ensure personal safe working practices). Compliance with all employee job safety requirements and regulations required by company policies. Ensure all production and quality documents are completed accurately, up-to-date, and document-controlled. Perform routine and non-routine quality testing on batch-manufactured fire-retardant products. Verify finished goods meet established specifications. Ensure all testing is conducted according to approved procedures, test methods, and safety requirements Immediately notify production and quality leadership of quality issues or deviations. Collect, label, store, and maintain retain samples for each production batch in accordance with company requirements. Ensure retain samples are properly logged, stored under appropriate conditions, and disposed of per retention schedules. Identify out-of-specification (OOS) or nonconforming product(s). Place affected batches or raw materials on quality hold and clearly label and document status. Maintain the Hold log. Other duties may apply as required.Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work in a production area with fast-moving equipment, moderate to high noise levels, and temperature changes. Perform repetitive lifting, bending, grasping, reaching, pulling, climbing, and working at the computer. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. This position will be working in a manufacturing site atmosphere and must be able to stand for long, extended periods when needed.
