Contract-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector III to join a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment in Milpitas, CA. This role is responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies, subassemblies, components, and systems to ensure products meet established quality, reliability, and workmanship standards. The ideal candidate will have previous quality inspection experience in electronics manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, measuring devices, and manufacturing aids. Job Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and components Inspect products for compliance with quality, reliability, and workmanship standards Utilize microscopes, gauges, templates, and measuring tools during inspections Verify all required manufacturing and process operations are completed correctly Enter inspection and quality data into electronic and manual systems accurately Identify and report non-conforming products, defects, and low process yields Communicate quality concerns to manufacturing teams in a timely manner Assist with process audits and interpretation of quality standards Support disposition and documentation of non-conforming materials Complete inspection records and administrative documentation accurately Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred 6-12 months of related quality inspection experience preferred Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly environments preferred Ability to read and understand moderately complex instructions and specifications Familiarity with inspection tools such as microscopes, measuring tools, and gauges Basic understanding of electronic components, schematics, soldering, or assembly processes is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Preferred Experience Electronic assembly inspection Surface mount or point-to-point wiring inspection Cable/harness inspection Measuring tools and microscope usage Data entry and manufacturing systems software Understanding of workmanship and quality standards Physical & Work Environment Repetitive motion work environment Moderate noise level Frequent sitting, visual inspection, and computer/data entry work Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lbs Exposure to manufacturing and production environments Benefits Through Balance Staffing As a Balance Staffing Associate, you may be eligible for: Weekly Pay Medical Benefits Paid Sick Leave State-Specific Retirement Savings Options Career Growth Opportunities Balance Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
