Manufacturing Full Job Description Quality Control Inspector III Location:
Milpitas, CA Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM | 2:30 PM•11:00
PM Pay Rate:
$24.00•$26.40/hr
Position Type:
Contract-to-Hire Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector III to inspect electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts to ensure compliance with quality and workmanship standards. This role is responsible for performing inspections, identifying defects, documenting quality data, and supporting manufacturing processes in a fast-paced production environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of electronic cards, subassemblies, systems, and components to verify compliance with established specifications and workmanship standards Use microscopes, gauges, templates, and other inspection tools to ensure product quality and reliability Verify that all required manufacturing and process operations have been completed correctly Accurately enter quality inspection data into electronic and manual tracking systems Identify and report unusual product defects or low process yields to appropriate personnel Provide timely feedback to manufacturing teams regarding non-conforming products Complete all administrative and documentation tasks related to quality inspections Conduct process audits and assist manufacturing teams with interpreting quality and workmanship standards Support the review and disposition of non-conforming materials and products Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred 6-12 months of related quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred Company-provided training may be required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Understanding of inspection techniques and quality standards Experience using inspection tools such as microscopes, measuring devices, and gauges Familiarity with electronic assembly processes, including: Surface mount assembly Point-to-point wiring Soldering and touch-up work Reading color codes and schematics Basic data entry and computer skills, including spreadsheet and manufacturing software systems Ability to read and understand moderately complex instructions and procedures Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members Ability to perform basic math calculations involving measurements and quantities Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Work Environment & Physical Requirements Repetitive motion is frequently required Occasional exposure to chemicals and manufacturing environments Moderate noise level in the work environment Must be able to sit for extended periods and occasionally stand or walk Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Benefits While working as a Balance Staffing Associate, you may be eligible for: Weekly pay Optional medical benefits Paid sick leave State-specific retirement savings options in accordance with state and local laws Apply today!
