We currently have an immediate opportunity for a QC Tech to join the
BAR DIVISION
at our
ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA
location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Shift Hours:
3am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 3:30am; weekend availability required
Job Scope:
Performs a series of diversified inspection-operation in accordance with standard inspection procedures. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of applicable inspection documents. Each inspector is expected to become competent in all QC inspection functions throughout the plant.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all assigned inspections in a manner consistent with established quality standards and inspection frequencies for compliance to formulation and specifications. Utilize basic inspection measuring tools (scale, ruler, micrometer, thermometer, etc.) to perform simple tests and basic math skills to calculate average and ranges of data Document and report inspection results in a clear and concise manner. Report all discrepancies to Supervisor or other Company Manager. Comply with and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices Assist in collecting and preparing samples for sensory or analytical analysis, such as weighing, mixing, and labeling the samples. Perform routine tests using laboratory equipment and tools such as water activity, pH, viscosity, and others.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read and write in English Must have graduated from High School Must be detailed oriented, willing to learn and be proactive Must be willing and able to learn new procedures Must be computer literate Mist utilize good communication skills with co-workers and interface with departments and Supervisors.
