Full Job Description Quality Control Inspector Employment Type:
Temp-to-Hire Schedule:
1st Shift, Monday-Friday (Some Overtime on Saturdays as Needed) Pay Rate; $20-$25/hr. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector with aerospace manufacturing experience to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment and possess a strong understanding of quality inspection processes. This individual will work closely with production, engineering, inventory, and customer service teams to ensure products meet all quality and safety standards before shipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products. Verify products meet customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measuring equipment. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials and products. Support corrective and preventive action activities. Participate in First Article Inspections (AS9102). Assist with calibration activities and maintenance of inspection equipment. Maintain quality records and inspection documentation. Participate in internal audits and quality system activities. Work closely with production personnel to resolve quality concerns. Assist with customer concerns and product investigations as needed. Support inventory control processes, including FIFO compliance. Ensure all inspections are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Follow company safety policies and quality procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience Previous Quality Control Inspection experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred. Knowledge of

Soldering Standards. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Experience using precision measuring equipment, including: Calipers Gauges Voltmeters Other inspection tools Familiarity with: Incoming Inspection In-Process Inspection Final Inspection Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Calibration Programs Document Control Internal Auditing First Article Inspection (AS9102) Customer Quality Requirements Understanding of inventory practices, including FIFO. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or certifications related to Quality Assurance, Aerospace, or Manufacturing are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Good visual acuity and attention to detail. Ability to use inspection equipment and measuring devices accurately. Work Environment Manufacturing and aerospace production environment. Exposure to machinery, production equipment, and manufacturing processes. Requires adherence to safety policies and quality standards at all times.
