Description:
This candidate will be apart of the NDT General FAB Inspection team. Candidate will be responsible for the creation of metrics tracking NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection) performance, critical throughput in each task center, and acceptance/rejection status of commodities therein, providing daily, weekly, and monthly statistical data utilizing HANA & multiple data sites, to include Apriso, SFM, Tableau, and Oracle. Candidate will be required to review existing inspection requirements and inspection acceptance rates for assembly and fabrication to develop inspection policies. Candidate will work with planning & Floor QA to identify inspection points for potential reduction, and optimization. Candidate will conduct analysis of inspection pass rates and adjust oversight levels based on acceptance rates. Candidate will provide Quality Assurance oversight for planning assurance inspections. Candidate will support multiple shift and weekend activities including direct support of hourly represented personnel. Candidate will support multiple shift and weekend activities. Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency and analysis of Shop Floor Management (SFM) and experience with statistical methods and data analytics/data visualization programs e.g., Tableau, HANA, and Oracle, to provide statistical information for daily, weekly, and monthly metrics. Experience with engineering drawing systems such as one of the following: Apriso, PDM, JDL, SFM, & QADs. Candidate will work with NDT Engineers, planners, and production control personnel to develop and improve inspection procedures to facilitate production inspection requirements.
Desired Skills:
Ability to navigate engineering specifications, drawings, work instructions, and other source data in order to develop written instruction. Specific experience with LM Quality Assurance systems and engineering drawing systems including PDM, JDL, QADs, SFM, Apriso, and CAPP, desired. Experience with locating and analysis of quality and operations data from SFM. Experience with Business Objects using Tableau, HANA, and Oracle. Familiarity with MS Excel statistical calculations and various analytical charting, RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action). Experience reviewing and planning for inspection requirements. Prior experience working in fabrication/production or Flightline environment. Familiarity with Inspection Requirements flow from Quality Engineering to the Planning Manual into the Work Instructions.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $90,200 - $159,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
