Full Job Description Job Title:
Quality Control (QC) Inspector Job Summary The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role involves inspecting, testing, and documenting results while working closely with production and engineering teams to identify defects and support continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming materials, in‑process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring tools and equipment Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or process deviations Accurately complete inspection reports, logs, and quality documentation Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for quality issues Communicate inspection results clearly with production, engineering, and quality teams Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements Participate in audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality meetings as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or certifications preferred) Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related environment Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or measuring devices Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills (May Vary by Industry) Experience with ISO, AS9100, FDA, or other quality standards Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) or quality methodologies Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
