Job Description:
Quality Control Inspector (Manufacturing / Electronics)
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves inspecting electronic components, assemblies, and finished goods to identify defects, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components and assemblies Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications Verify product quality using measuring tools and testing equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.) Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications:
1-3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing, preferably electronics Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents Familiarity with quality standards (ISO, IPC, or similar) Experience with inspection tools and testing equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Preferred:
