Job Summary We are seeking a Quality Control Technician Chemical for a 1-year contract opportunity in a chemical laboratory and manufacturing environment in Pittsburg, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented QC professional with hands-on experience testing raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods in a chemical, adhesives, petrochemical, coatings, or related production setting. The Quality Control Technician will support product quality, safety, compliance, and documentation standards in a structured lab environment. - Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications and formulas.
- Record, calculate, analyze, and report test results using SAP, Microsoft Excel, and laboratory documentation systems.
- Maintain accurate quality records, follow QC Standard Laboratory Procedures, and support compliance with SOPs and documentation standards.
- Maintain, operate, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliable testing and accurate results.
- Assist with out-of-spec investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, customer complaints, audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Follow all safety, health, environmental, PPE, OSHA, and chemical handling requirements while supporting 5S and lab organization. Compensation and Benefits
