Full-Time Position Summary The Quality Control Inspector / Inspection Technician is responsible for performing inspection activities that support the manufacture of high-quality plastic injection molds and related components. This position requires technical discipline, a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to support multiple inspection activities within the Quality Control department. Necessary training will be provided for candidates who do not have prior inspection or manufacturing experience. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn technical processes, follow instructions, work carefully with precision components, and consistently maintain a high level of accuracy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform manual inspections using precision measuring tools. Perform in-process inspections utilizing CMM and Optical systems. Read and interpret engineering drawings, inspection requirements, CAD models, and related technical documentation. Develop, execute, and support inspection programs using applicable inspection software and equipment. Monitor inspection results to ensure production adheres to approved drawings and specifications. Generate inspection reports and ensure inspection records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained. Communicate inspection results to manufacturing/engineering department. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of inspection equipment, work areas, and inspected components. Perform daily equipment checks, cleaning maintenance, and styli calibration as assigned. Update the ERP system as required, including charging time, updating component status, and staging work for the next process wherever applicable. Support other inspection areas as needed based on workload, training, and business needs.Pay:
