Beertender

New English Brewing is seeking an experienced Beertender with a positive attitude to work in our Tasting Room. The Beertender is responsible for the overall guest experience, ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction. Must be RBS certified.

Beertender Job Duties:

Serves guests beer and other beverages Maintains a safe and clean working environment Prepares tasting room for opening Closes tasting room, duties including mopping, trash haul, and cleaning & restocking bathrooms Accurately collects payments on sales Operates Point-of-Sale system with high level of proficiency Able to lift 35 pounds Changes beer taps when kegs run out Cleans up after guests as needed Follows opening and closing checklists Upsells, with knowledge of all items, including merchandise Follows all senior beertender instructions

Qualification & Education Requirements:

Strong customer service and relationship building skills Team player with a positive attitude Experience in a bar / beverage environment and customer service Must be 21 or older Must be able to work a part-time schedule, including weekends and evenings, as well as possible events in our tasting room. certified with proof of certification Cicerone certification a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Neat, tidy and professional appearance A passion for craft beer Strong organizational skills Must be punctual, good timing keeping Experience with craft beer is a plus Knowledge of the brewing process, methods and practices is a plus Must be available to work on weekends Check us out!
