About the Role Join our quality assurance team as a Quality Inspector and CMM Programmer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of complex aerospace components. You will leverage your technical expertise in metrology and programming to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes while maintaining strict adherence to industry-leading quality standards. Responsibilities Develop, validate, and optimize CMM programs to ensure precise measurement and documentation of high-tolerance parts. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement challenges and improve shop floor efficiency. Execute comprehensive inspections—including first-piece, in-process, and final audits—utilizing advanced metrology tools like optical comparators and precision hand gauges. Drive quality outcomes by managing PPAP documentation, control plans, and detailed inspection reporting. Ensure compliance with rigorous aerospace quality protocols, including AS9100 standards and counterfeit material prevention. Analyze manufacturing data and perform root cause investigations to implement effective corrective actions. Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate records and facilitate seamless communication across departments. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of dedicated CMM programming experience or 5+ years of advanced CMM operation with a desire to advance into programming. Expertise in interpreting complex blueprints, GD&T, and sophisticated fixture design. Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and critical troubleshooting in a high-precision environment. Strong proficiency in shop mathematics and technical documentation. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Skills Deep understanding of CAD modeling and 3D design software. Direct experience working within AS9100-certified quality management systems. Proficiency in managing data through ERP or MRP software platforms. Advanced knowledge of CNC tooling and complex gauge measurement techniques.
