(HIRELCO) is an industry leader whose expertise is in designing and manufacturing custom and MIL-Spec interconnect products for a variety of industries including Aerospace and Defense. We are seeking a Receiving Inspector for inspecting incoming raw materials, components, assemblies, and outside processing services to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, purchase order requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform receiving inspections on purchased materials and components using engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements. Verify certifications, Certificates of Conformance (C of C), material certifications, and special process documentation. Review supplier documentation for completeness and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges. Verify dimensional, visual, and functional characteristics of incoming products. Identify and document nonconforming materials and initiate rejection or MRB processes. Create inspection records and maintain accurate documentation within ERP and quality systems. Communicate inspection results to Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality departments. Assist with supplier corrective actions and root cause investigations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of receiving inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Basic computer proficiency and strong attention to detail.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
