Job Description
Gorilla Circuits is one of the leading Printed Circuit Board Manufacturers in North America. We are a dynamic, fast-moving company that thrives on challenges and relies on our employees to consistently push for improvements. The Final Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of printed circuit boards (PCBs) at the final stage of the fabrication process. This role ensures that all boards meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements before shipment. The Final Inspector uses visual inspection methods, measurement tools, and documentation to verify product quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities Perform final inspection of completed PCBs to ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer drawings, and internal specifications. Verify critical dimensions, hole sizes, plating quality, solder mask, legend, surface finish, and overall workmanship. Inspect boards for cosmetic defects such as scratches, dents, solder mask misregistration, and contamination. Use microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, and other precision tools to confirm product quality. Review and complete all inspection documentation and traveler paperwork. Tag and segregate nonconforming material, and communicate issues to the QA team and Production. Ensure traceability and accurate record-keeping for inspected lots. Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on recurring issues or process deviations. Maintain a clean, organized inspection area in compliance with safety and quality requirements.
