SHIFT:
Day Job Purpose:
Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
Education and Experience:
Have experience with high volume PCBA manufacturing environment Familiar with IPC 610 Able to identify the Components Value Able to read ECO Must display the ability to read, understand and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs) Must be familiar and able to operate Automatic Optical Inspection machine Be available for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr/wk Be able to read English and communicate well with others Must have the ability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment. Minimum of 2 years experience as inspector Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range(annual): $39,000 - $45,000 ($18.75 - 21.63 hourly) Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
