Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay:
$20.50
Position Overview:
The Quality Inspector will be responsible to check the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products. This position will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. The ideal candidate will possess and keen eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. The goal is to ensure our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment. Responsibilities Gather drawings and applicable technical specifications Review and understand the specs Inspect all materials for compliance with the specifications Correct material for application Visual Dimensional Quantity Mock-up (as required for proof of functionality and accuracy) Document inspection results on drawings (for accounting and reference) Maintain inspection records Identify satisfactory material with "QC Accepted" and "unsatisfactory" material with "QC Rejected" decals Acceptance Discrepancies Rejects Stage material in an orderly manner Two years' experience in Manufacturing facility High degree of time management to handle multiple and concurrent tasks Ability to lead, interface, and work effectively with other departments Highly organized with a strong attention to detail Must be able to interact professionally at all levels of the organization 1 - 3 years of related experience in safety and training leadership roles. Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and/or Continuous Improvement training or certifications preferred. Proficient in MS Office programs. Experience with reading and interpreting CAD drawings/technical specifications. Working knowledge of gauges, calipers, and tape measurements.

$20.50 per hour
