CUSTOM DRAPERY FABRICATOR / SEAMSTRESS

We are a well-established custom window treatment company in San Diego seeking an experienced sewing professional to join our workroom team. This position involves the fabrication of custom draperies, Roman shades, valances, bedding, pillows, and other soft furnishings for high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate has strong sewing skills, attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work. Experience in custom draperies is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with professional sewing experience.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate custom draperies and Roman shades Measure, cut, and sew fabrics according to work orders Assemble and finish custom soft furnishings Maintain quality control throughout production Work with the team to meet project deadlines Keep work areas organized and efficient

Qualifications:

Sewing experience required Experience with industrial sewing machines preferred Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to follow measurements and work orders accurately Dependable and punctual Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience:

Custom draperies Roman shades Upholstery or soft furnishings Alterations, costume construction, quilting, or other professional sewing backgrounds We are looking for someone who enjoys creating beautiful finished products and wants to be part of a growing company serving the interior design industry.
