Quality Assurance Associate Prime Staffing Group - 2.8 Stanton, CA Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Writing skills English Quality improvement Document review Assembly line Full Job Description Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Associate is to conduct sampling and inspection of all materials, components, finished products, and closures utilized in the manufacturing process. These activities must adhere rigorously to established quality assurance programs and approved procedures, including compliance with raw material specifications. Key Responsibilities of a
Quality Assurance Associate:
Examine finished product samples using established methodologies, including comparison against master standards, dimensional measurement, and functional testing. Review blueprints and specifications to ensure manufactured products comply with design requirements.
Compliance and Safety Monitoring:
Ensure the assembly line rigorously adheres to all established SOPs (standard operating procedures), policies, and regulatory/legal requirements. Monitor production equipment for safety compliance and immediately remove any non-compliant or hazardous machinery from service. Document findings following each inspection, specifying necessary rework and scrapped material, and accurately inputting data into the quality management system.
Process Improvement and Training:
Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize production efficiency and elevate final product quality. Conduct training for the production team to maintain and reinforce high-quality standards across all operations. Maintain the precision of measuring instruments by adhering to the calibration schedule and coordinating necessary repairs.
Professional Development:
Engage in continuous learning and training to remain current with the latest industry knowledge and standards. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management. Strong English reading and writing proficiency required. Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Approximately 100% of the work is performed on the production floor and warehouse environment
  • Requires standing for long periods of time and walking to other production buildings as needed. Must be able to safely walk up and down stairs without assistance.
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs unaided and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Frequently exposed to varying extreme conditions and loud noise levels.
  • Required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required for various environments
  • Regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
