Full-time Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes by performing various quality control and assurance tasks.
Position Summary:
The Clean Room Quality Control inspector is responsible for testing integrity of welds and overall part conformance to drawing dimensions. This position will specialize stainless steel tube weldments and manifolds. The inspector will follow all work area processes and procedures to inspect parts. Responsibilities include inspecting items using common measuring instruments (e.g. calipers, height gauge, protractor) , helium leak testing, data entry, and practicing good housekeeping. This position reports to the QC Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspecting completed parts, compare to requirements, and measure/document dimensional results Participating in the calibration of gages and equipment Cerate /maintain
FAI/PPAP
documentation (FAI's, Control Plans, etc). Assist the purchasing department with Vendor quality control Participating in the non-conformance deficiency management process Participate in Root-cause analysis, corrective actions, follow up and reporting Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Participate in Internal audits and all requirements of
ISO 9001
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred; clean room experience is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to read engineering drawings apply dimensional requirements and interpret drawing notes Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in inspecting and manipulating small, delicate items using various tools. Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and practices. Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office products. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good problem-solving, multi-tasking, and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain high productivity on repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
100% of the time is spent in plant conditions and a clean room environment. Constant exposure to chemicals and frequent exposure to machinery and loud noises.
