Start times vary between 2:00 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:00 PM End times vary between 10:30 PM, 11:00 PM, and 11:30 PM Overview We're looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to inspect products using established quality plans and measurement tools. This role ensures all manufactured parts meet required specifications before moving to the next stage of production. What You'll Do Operate a variety of measuring instruments such as TESA, OGP, pin gages, drop gages, and concentricity gages. Verify product conformance using visual inspection, microscopes, micrometers, and automated measuring equipment. Perform calibration/verification checks on measuring instruments. Read and interpret drawings; understand defect types, sorting, and lot‑control procedures. Follow traveler documents and work instructions accurately. Complete end‑of‑shift duties, end‑of‑job procedures, and housekeeping tasks. Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and emergency procedures. Position Levels Quality Technician I
- Entry Level Learns inspection procedures and proper use of measuring instruments. Quality Technician II
- Intermediate Performs a variety of inspections using multiple measurement tools. Quality Technician III
- Advanced Inspects product, communicates results, trains others, interprets drawings and documentation, and performs administrative quality tasks.
What You Bring Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic shop math skills. Basic computer skills. Strong communication skills in English. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally exert push force up to 50 lbs. Good eyesight and hand dexterity. Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
