Construction Full Job Description Construction Materials Tester Location:
Denver, CO Schedule:
Monday-Friday | (40-60 hrs/week)
Pay:
$21-24/hr About the Role We are hiring entry-level Construction Materials Testing Technicians to support civil and light residential construction projects across Colorado. This is a hands-on field role where you become a critical part of the construction process—testing and verifying materials before, during, and after construction begins. You will be responsible for testing and documenting materials such as: Concrete Soil and subgrade materials Asphalt Structural steel and rebar What You'll Do Collect and test construction materials on active job sites Drive to multiple client locations daily in a company vehicle Complete accurate digital reports using provided iPad and iPhone Communicate directly with foremen, supervisors, crew chiefs, and clients Ensure compliance and quality standards before construction continues Perform physical field work including bending, lifting, and sample collection Why This Role is a Career Opportunity You will have access to 22 industry certifications , including: ACI Concrete Testing WAQTC Soil Testing CAPA Asphalt Certification CDOT (Colorado Department of Transportation)
Certifications Benefits of Certifications:
Pay increases of $0.50 to $1.50 per certification Potential $2-$3/hour raise within 6 months Company pays for first attempt at all certifications Significant advancement toward Certified Geotechnical Technician status Physical Requirements Ability to lift 40-50 lb soil samples regularly Ability to lift up to 75 lb equipment occasionally Frequent bending, kneeling, walking, and outdoor field work Requirements Must be 21+ years old Valid driver's license required (no exceptions) Reliable personal vehicle required (no public transportation) Clean background check Clean MVR Clean drug test Apply Today! #
