The position requires the employee to perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Performs pre-pour inspection checks as required -- wet cast operations Performs post-pour inspection checks as required -- wet cast operations Participate in Corrective Action Reports for nonconforming product Monitor production operations and reporting of deficiencies as required Perform material gradation testing as necessary Perform daily wet tests for concrete production pours Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens Maintain record keeping of quality documents, reports, inspections, etc. Maintain calibration and maintenance of lab equipment as required Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns Assists other Quality Control personnel as requested Ensures that all precast products are correctly marked Job Requirements Previous quality control experience in Construction Industry, concrete experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills and understanding of basic math and geometry Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members Currently holds Quality Control Certifications including, but not limited to, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
