The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality in all aspects of processing and finishing of various metal parts to include motor, medical and aerospace equipment. This position demands a meticulous professional dedicated to ensuring compliance with rigorous industry standards, regulatory requirements and internal quality benchmarks. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, testing, and evaluations of sensitive components and assemblies to guarantee product integrity and performance. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify potential issues early in the production process and implement corrective actions effectively and immediately. The ideal candidate will bring an in-depth understanding of aviation and aerospace quality control procedures, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrate unwavering commitment to excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety and reliability of products that impact the broader industry and public trust. Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed inspections of highly sensitive and aerospace components to ensure compliance with specified standards and drawings.
  • Document inspection results meticulously and report any deviations or defects to the engineering and quality teams promptly.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to identify root causes of quality issues and assist in developing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Verify that materials, processes and final products comply with applicable regulatory and safety standards.
  • Maintain inspection equipment calibration and ensure all quality documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to support ongoing compliance with industry standards and certifications.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and blueprints accurately.
  • Effective communication skills for clear documentation and interaction with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and experience conducting audits is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
