Shift Location:
Litchfield County, CT Pay:
$30-35 per hour depending on experience About the Company We are an established AS9100-certified CNC turning and milling job shop, providing precision-machined parts to the medical, aerospace, and commercial industries. Key responsibilities include:
Program and operate CMM equipment for production and first article inspection Create and maintain inspection programs for complex machined components Program and support vision inspection systems as required Prepare bubble drawings and AS9102 first article inspection documentation Train team members on proper CMM operation and inspection techniques Support quality investigations and dimensional analysis activities Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure inspection requirements are met Assist in developing efficient inspection processes that support a world-class manufacturing environment Desired Skills & Experience Experience programming and operating CMM equipment Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation Experience with Keyence vision systems is a plus Experience with CMM Manager software is a plus Familiarity with AS9102 first article inspection requirements Experience preparing bubble drawings and inspection reports Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to troubleshoot inspection and measurement issues Experience in aerospace, medical, or precision machining environments is a plus Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams About You We're looking for someone who takes pride in precision and accuracy, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is committed to maintaining high quality standards.
