Job Description

Job description United Concrete Products Inc. is a leader in manufacturing precast concrete solutions. As a Quality Control Technician , you will be responsible for ensuring that products are built and produced in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements. Responsibilities and Duties Performs pre-pour inspection of all forms, reinforcement, steel, and inserts, to maintain optimized workflow and assists in finding ways to decrease delays and cause rework. Maintains daily and project production records. Checks and verifies all dimensions of cast-in embeds. Completes daily Quality Control documentation. Inspects all finished products. Documents and follows-up on any precast product that requires patching or rework. Ensures that all precast products are correctly marked. Assists other Quality Control personnel as requested. Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant and yard safety in accordance with the Safety Manual and the direction of the Safety Coordinator. Qualifications and Skills Prestress experience preferred Some experience in quality assurance, ACI (preferred but not required) High School diploma or equivalent Experience with construction materials (preferred) Basic computer skills Problem solving and communication skills Ability to move or lift 50 lbs. Work and communicate well with others
