You will collaborate with local management team and internal stakeholders to champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization to ensure our commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily priorities: provide shop floor guidance for operations, quality inspections, inventory management, internal/external customer service, email communications, problem solving, portal tickets.
  • Direct weekly priorities: projects, processing customer complaints, defective raw material resolutions, inventory management.
  • Direct monthly priorities: on-site workstation reviews, data, and content collection, manage tool calibration system, follow-up, and close-out critical quality activities (e.g., non-conformances, corrective actions, customer returns, and global QA objectives.
  • You will liaison with: third party testing labs, mills/suppliers, and interact with all inputs and outputs linked to the local and global QMS (Purchasing, Sales, OPS, Customers, et.
al)
Job Duties:
  • Review order requirements and perform verifications/inspections on processed material on the shop floor - Pre-check / DQR / QA release.
  • Troubleshoot errors found during inspection and processing and work with operations to resolve.
  • Records data of errors when relevant.
  • Conduct process workstation reviews, document, assist with action plans to drive improvement.
  • Assist with addressing and documenting receiving issues and vendor non-conformances.
  • Complete spec validation override requests from admin.
  • Perform mic readings, pictures, stock - checks.
  • Complete Returned Goods initial review, inspect material, file freight claims.
  • Responsible for recert and paperwork requests, template validations, supplier, and customer surveys for location via portal requests and email.
  • Liaison with third party labs, mills, and processors for certification or correction of reports
  • Address, document, and communication, non-conforming material, vendor non-compliances.
  • Positive Material Identification Units - data dump, trouble shoot, clean, complete quarterly safety checks.
  • Effectively manage requests through email.
  • Interact in person, or virtually with internal and external customers.
  • Manage quarantined material through report in ERP system.
  • Perform inventory maintenance: Qty adjustments, item transfers, scrap purges.
  • Assist with implementation of corrective actions and improvement projects.
Preferred Skills:
  • 2+ years in quality assurance, manufacturing, or a related field
  • 1+ years using Microsoft Office applications such as: Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • General skillset for technology/IT a bonus
  • 1+ years of related Technical/industry knowledge: e.
g., root cause analysis, auditing, experience in aerospace, medical, defense, Et. Al.
