Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Quality Control Inspector to oversee inspection standards and product compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on quality leadership role focused on inspection accuracy, defect prevention, and ensuring all finished products meet defined specifications before release. Key Responsibilities Lead quality inspection processes across in-process and finished products Perform detailed inspections for defects, accuracy, fit, and compliance with specifications Verify product conformance prior to release for shipment Identify, document, and escalate quality issues and non-conforming materials Conduct audits of production output, labeling, and final readiness standards Support root-cause analysis and corrective action efforts with production leadership Monitor recurring defects and help drive continuous improvement initiatives Maintain accurate inspection records, quality logs, and reporting Train and reinforce quality expectations with production team members Ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures Requirements 3+ years of quality control, inspection, or manufacturing compliance experience Strong experience identifying defects and enforcing quality standards Ability to interpret work instructions, specifications, and inspection criteria Experience working in structured manufacturing or production environments Strong attention to detail with a high accountability mindset Comfortable being assertive in stopping or flagging non-conforming work Prior lead, senior inspector, or quality-focused role preferred Schedule & Pay Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM $18.00 - $22.00/hr depending on experience COM098 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
