Role title:
Quality Control Lead Mission:
Execution of Data Collection and Audit trail requirements of the SeC Quality Management System in order to efficiently and effectively meet or exceed SeC plastic pipe quality standards. Roles /
Objectives:
Execute SeC QMS activities, ensuring production and lab testing is complete, paperwork accurate, & records filed properly Training and ensuring teams follow daily & weekly
QC & QMS
requirements & testing procedures Work with Director of Quality to maintain & regularly calibrate lab & QC equipment/tools; ensuring proper functionality Collect, test and manage resin sampling & storage, keeping computer logs up to date (in house) Perform/Oversee routine quality control monitoring during production Responsible for QC tool purchase/upkeep Perform/Oversee data collection and analysis Assist Director of Quality with existing and expected projects and analyzing quality trends by diameter and recipe types and make suggesting improvements Assist Production/Process Technician teams with key start up quality measurements and requirements (Mic, Bow, Ovality, etc.) Maintain facility housekeeping with a focus on the lab upkeep Coordination and execution of 3rd party testing Organization, inspection and delivery of DOT jobs Assist Director of Quality with audit preparation and achievement Ensure quality assurance traceability LMA (Leadership Management and Accountability) of QC department

Mechanical:
Enjoyment of understanding the use and importance of machinery and tools DOT certified on plastic pipe quality parameters, policies, & requirements Familiar with raw material types used in SeC plastic products, lines & certification requirements Ability to use and maintain all lab and quality equipment Detailed knowledge of
ASTM & AASHTO
specifications & their application in SeC's QMS Strong attention to detail, accuracy, & organization Ability and willingness to document processes Knows SeC's material management system & able to create different recipes used in production Proficient at all QC level duties Knowledge of SeC's material management system & able to create different recipes used in production Detailed understanding of all DOT requirements Full understanding of Web Portal system and daily production forms, focused on proper entries and shift/personnel accuracy tracking Ability to work with the Director of Quality to implement any adjustments or changes to the specification and SeC QMS Understand and anticipate impacts of material changes for setups, quality, and scrap impacts Fully independent in lab testing, data collection, and data analysis Can handle the responsibility of making crucial quality decisions (Shutdowns/Adjustment Recommendations) Ability to independently handle DOT orders Assist in major quality equipment shutdowns, start ups, maintenance, and rebuilds Fully capable of providing training on all quality topics and Level I, II and III Capable of fully independent quality testing (Melt Blends, Certifications, Stub/Liner)
