Join our manufacturing team as a Quality Control Inspector and help ensure that every component leaving our facility meets exact specifications and uncompromising standards. Essential Functions Read and interpret blueprints and specifications Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with production standards Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes as needed Inspect, test, and measure materials and products throughout production Measure products using rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measuring devices Accept or reject finished items based on inspection results Communicate inspection findings to production personnel and other stakeholders Operate electronic inspection equipment, including coordinate-measuring machines (CMMs) Competencies Proficiency with electronic inspection equipment, including CMMs Strong computer skills, including MS Office; ability to acquire and interpret CAD files and blueprints Strong organizational skills Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities Time management skills Initiative and attention to detail Education and Experience High School or GED Equivalent. May consider experience and education in lieu of diploma Demonstrated understanding of metrology Three or more years of experience in a quality control role, or equivalent experience using measuring devices and interpreting blueprints in a manufacturing environment Experience using PC-DMIS software preferred Ability to read and interpret single-part and assembly drawings Basic knowledge of metallurgy and instrument calibration preferred Be nefits Fabco-Air, Inc. offers a robust benefits package, which is designed to help employees and their dependents stay healthy, feel secure and maintain a work/life balance.
