Day shift ( Monday to Friday) Location is Hollywood, Fl.
Pay rate range is:
$23/$25Hr. Looking to hire immediately.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Inspecting aerospace and mechanical parts in a manufacturing environment
    • Inspect incoming and outgoing material, to engineering prints, certificate of conformance and testing certificates. Make decisions on accepting or rejecting the lot, hold or release the lot in the internal system and document the outcome.
    • Inspect in-process material, make a decision on accepting or rejecting the lot, hold or release the lot in the internal system and document the outcome
    • Verify the inputs from the external supplier and the outputs before delivery to the customer
    • Inspect possible at-risk components, i.e. potential for damage in long term storage, shelf-life requirements, rust, damage, improper packaging etc.
    • Review provided documentation for conformity of products received to customer requirements
    • Authorized to stop the process and notify Quality Assurance Manager in the event of noticing anything that could result in a nonconformance
    Required/Preferred Experience:
    • Previous experience in inspecting aerospace or mechanical parts in a manufacturing environment
    Education:
    High School or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing/quality related function in an
    ISO9001/AS9100
    environment.
    • Math skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Mechanical skills: Knowledge in the use of instruments.
    Gages, hand tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, linear scales), Gages (e.g., pins, thread, custom gages), Optical tools (e.g., comparators, profiles, microscopes). Electronic measuring equipment (e.g., CMM,)Be able to read mechanical prints, specifications including tables, descriptions of part numbers, description of materials, heat treatment, coating/finish certificates etc.
    • Be able to identify links between or among documents, based on lot number, heat number, Purchase Order number etc. so that when required by customers, Relli can present a good traceability package
    • Be able to generate Inspection Reports and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) for customers (based on AS9102 forms). FAIR training would be provided; prior experience with AS9102 forms is a plus
    • Physical stamina and strength: Quality control inspectors must be able to stand/sit for long periods on the job. And be able to lift heavy objects up to 25 lbs.
    • Technical skills: Quality control inspectors must understand blueprints, technical documents, and manuals, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards.
    Ability to interpret and work using MIL-standards and Industry Standards.
