Full Job Description Description:
Quality Assurance & Test Technician Position Summary The Quality Assurance & Test Technician is responsible for managing production quality documentation and performing functional product testing throughout the manufacturing process. This role oversees traveler documentation from initiation through final release, performs product testing and verification, ensures compliance with company quality procedures, and supports continuous improvement efforts within the Quality Department. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and technically capable individual who can take ownership of quality processes within a team-oriented manufacturing environment while working collaboratively with production, operations, and leadership. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage production traveler paperwork and production packets from initiation through final release Review manufacturing documentation for completeness, accuracy, traceability, and required approvals Coordinate labeling control activities and ensure proper labeling documentation and compliance Coordinate Device History Record (DHR) documentation for final product release Perform functional testing and inspection of products and components according to established procedures Document and maintain accurate testing records and quality documentation File and maintain both digital scans and hard-copy quality records in accordance with company procedures Verify product conformity prior to final release and shipment Identify and report nonconforming material or quality concerns to management Support NCR, document control, final release, and labeling activities as directed Assist with calibration, preventive maintenance, and environmental monitoring activities Assist with maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and controlled documents Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance activities Partner with production and purchasing teams to support quality and process improvement initiatives Maintain organized quality records and filing systems Ensure adherence to company quality standards and regulatory requirements Role will be cross-trained across multiple quality functions, and additional duties may be assigned as needed Reporting Structure Reports to: Director of Quality / Management Representative Works closely with:

$45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience, technical ability, and qualifications. Performance bonus opportunities may also be available.

Requirements:
Qualifications Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience preferred Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, testing, or document control preferred Experience working in a manufacturing or regulated environment preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures, and manufacturing documentation Mechanically and technically inclined with troubleshooting ability Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems Experience with ERP systems, electronic quality systems, or manufacturing software preferred Preferred Skills Experience with functional product testing or electronic/mechanical devices Familiarity with ISO quality systems or regulated manufacturing environments Experience handling traveler documentation and traceability records Knowledge of nonconformance reporting and corrective action processes Ability to identify process improvement opportunities Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the facility as needed Ability to lift and move products or materials up to 45 lbs. Ability to perform repetitive testing and documentation tasks with accuracy and consistency Work Environment This position operates primarily within a manufacturing and office environment and may require interaction with production areas, testing stations, and warehouse operations.
