Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift (3:30 PM•12:00 AM) About the Opportunity Acara is currently seeking a Quality Inspector I (seats) for our client, a leading organization in the executive aviation sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while developing your professional expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting aircraft seats and interior products in the aviation industry and knowledge of FAA requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure aircraft seat installations and related components meet strict safety and quality standards through detailed dimensional and visual inspections Interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications to accurately assess product compliance and identify discrepancies Utilize specialized inspection tools and testing equipment to validate workmanship and support high-quality production outcomes Document and communicate quality findings by preparing inspection reports, First Article Inspections (FAIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and detailed deviation summaries for engineering review Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement through corrective and preventive action initiatives

Job Requirements Required Qualifications HS Diploma or GED 1-3 years of experience in Quality Inspection Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience. Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with seats/interiors Prior Inspector work experience with aerospace quality systems that meet FAA requirements. Ability to read technical documents and interpret information. Understanding of the metric system. Safety and operating procedures for power-on aircraft.
